SEC Reporting Analyst
Reputable public company based in Austin is seeking a sharp Accounting professional with SEC reporting experience to add to the team. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic, growing company in a key role within the Accounting group.
Reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting, the SEC Reporting Analyst will focus on technical accounting and financial reporting issues, including quarterly and annual SEC filings, footnotes, MD&A, earnings releases and proxy preparation, and other related SEC reporting functions. This individual will also be involved with the consolidation of multiple corporate entities, participating in month-end close for corporate entities, and facilitating the external Audit, while assisting with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and internal process improvements.
Qualified candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant Accounting and Financial Reporting experience, including significant exposure to and knowledge of SEC reporting. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required, and CPA or CPA candidate is necessary. A strong understanding of the 10-K and 10-Q reporting process is imperative, along with current GAAP knowledge and ability to perform technical accounting research. This individual should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with a proven work ethic and professional demeanor.
